Meeting an Apostle!

Well, this week has been busy, exciting, hard, discouraging, but very spiritual! I only have a few minutes to write so this will have to be a short letter but the highlight of my week was definitely getting to meet Elder D. Todd Christofferson. He was actually supposed to be somewhere else, but the runway was bad that the plane wouldn't fly there so they decided to come to New Zealand.

On Saturday we all got to listen to him speak, and we all shook his hand. It's an amazing opportunity to look into an apostle's eyes and have him smile at you and say "Good morning Sister Golden, how are you?"

I'm in the lower left corner of the picture!
At the end of his address he reminded us that we were companions to the apostles as missionaries, that their job is to spread the gospel to all nations but they can't do it all so we help them. We are their companions.. wow.  I needed to hear that. It makes me proud to be a part of this work.
He then left an Apostolic blessing on us, that we would never go astray during our mission as well as the rest of our lives. He blessed us with health and protection and comfort as well as our families... it was amazing to hear those things.

I have to go now, until next week!
Pray for me <3 I love you all!

-Sister Golden
